“Enjoying the Challenges of Pursuing a Doctorate Independently and Engaging with Practical Relevance“

Feedback from our DBA candidate Carmine Siena, who started SIBE’s DBA program in cooperation with the Edinburgh Business School in September 2023.

He's an entrepreneur and is currently pursuing his DBA with SIBE.

What do you particularly enjoy about your doctorate?

I particularly enjoy the challenges that come with pursuing a doctorate independently. Most importantly, I enjoy the emphasis on practical relevance, which led me to really engage with my area of research. Thanks to great support by my SIBE supervisor, I am sure to successfully finish within the next two years.
