In times of profound change, the global community faces many unanswered questions. Classical management does not offer future-oriented solutions in the current change processes. In order to meet the challenges facing society as a whole, leadership is required from creative personalities; personalities who, by virtue of their high level of competence and performance, drive innovation and make value contributions to the community. It is time that the necessary triad of leadership, personality and education finds its way into the public and academic discussion.
This book presents a concept of holistic leadership education that provides valuable practical guidance to leaders, decision-makers and practitioners in companies and organisations. It is part of the post-postgraduate master’s programme “Diploma of Performance and Leadership (DPL)” of the SIBE, Graduate School of the Faculty of Leadership and Management at Steinbeis University, which was developed in cooperation with the Alma Mater Europaea of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts and the scientific publisher Springer.
