Steinbeis University Professor Heiko von der Gracht is listed in the world’s top 2% Scientists list (October 2023 data-update) by Elsevier, an academic publishing company, and by John P.A. Ioannidis, a Stanford University Professor, and his co-authors. This version (6) is based on the October 1, 2023, snapshot from Scopus, updated to the end of the citation year 2022. The work uses Scopus data provided by Elsevier through ICSR Lab.
For the sixth time since 2019, John P.A. Ioannidis (Stanford), Jeroen Baas (Elsevier), and Kevin W Boyack (SciTech Strategies) have published, via the Elsevier Data Repository, a ‘citation ranking’ of academics from all disciplines and countries around the world.
The authors have compared various standardized information by analyzing 87 million+ records from journals, books and book series, conference proceedings and trade publications, 17 million+ author profiles, and 94,000+ affiliation profiles (c-score, h-index, co-authorship). In this way, they identified those researchers whose scientific articles were most frequently cited by other researchers. This ranking is based on the data collected and analyzed from January 2022 to December 2022 (excluding self-citations).
The Top 2% researchers (approx. 210,200 top researchers) resulting from this data comparison are classified into 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields based on Science-Metrix’s established classification.
In this new update of the so-called “Stanford List”, Professor Heiko von der Gracht (# 18 499) made it to the Top 2% again. Heiko von der Gracht holds the Chair of Futures Studies and Foresight at Steinbeis University. Being listed in the top 2% scientists in the world illustrates that he is at a top level in his respective field and that his academic research strikes remarkable influence worldwide.
