Most of the more than 100,000 Master’s theses submitted annually at German colleges and universities attract little attention outside the institutions. A fact that does not mean that no innovative ideas are elaborated in the theses.
In order to promote these ideas and offer them a platform, the trade journal “Wirtschaftswoche”, together with the Bundesverband für Volks- und Betriebswirte (bdvb e.V.), has been organising the “Supermaster” initiative since last year. In three rounds, submitted master theses are reviewed and evaluated. The best among them will be presented by the authors at the award ceremony in Düsseldorf. The audience will fill the hall, as will the jury, consisting of high-ranking representatives from science and industry. The best thesis will be selected during the event and awarded prize money of 25,000 euros.
The application period for the Supermaster 2020 is open until 29 February 2020. As part of the initiative, SIBE graduates should note that relevant data must be removed from partner companies or released by the company.
