On November 26, the board meeting of the Baden-Württemberg Industry Association (LVI) took place. Under the direction of the president Heinrich Baumann the current situation of the industrial enterprises in Baden-Wuerttemberg was discussed. Another item on the agenda was the addition of Prof. Dr. Stefanie Kisgen, Managing Director of the School of International Business and Entrepreneurship (SIBE) at Steinbeis University and Professor of Leadership at Steinbeis University, to the Association’s Board of Directors. The previous members of the board elected the entrepreneur and scientist to their committee in order to promote the exchange between science and business more strongly in the future.
Prof. Dr. Kisgen says about her co-optation: “It is a great honour and task to represent the SIBE and thus the ideas of (personal) education, innovation and knowledge transfer in the LVI. In times of dynamic and fast-moving change, optimal framework conditions are needed for companies to remain innovative and competitive.”
The LVI represents the interests of the industrial companies in Baden-Württemberg vis-à-vis politics. Among other things, he opposes state intervention and tax discrimination against small and medium-sized enterprises.
