General projects
SIBE offers many years of expertise in the methodological support of projects. Our cross-industry clientele, ranging from SMEs to large corporations, benefits from our external perspective and the new ideas we bring to the table, as well as from our strict focus on the project. As an external party, we are more objective than internal employees and therefore help to make better decisions. We also help to minimize project risks by applying proven methods and techniques or identifying and solving potential problems at an early stage.
Smaller companies in particular also benefit from our flexible, operational collaboration in the project, which can compensate for a lack of internal resources. By hiring new employees or training existing staff in the sense of empowerment, we help to expand project management expertise in the long term.
If you would also like to make use of the capacities and experience of a long-standing expert, we look forward to developing specific approaches with you. You can either deploy your own employees in the project and thus retain young talent at an early stage. Or you can use our access to campus, and we will search for committed, highly motivated talents with a first academic degree. Contact us or take a look at our current and free talent catalog.
Project examples
Based on Design Thinking, we conducted a series of workshops for the Stuttgart Region Economic Development Corporation with the aim of developing new ideas in the field of bioeconomy as part of structured innovation coaching. Interdisciplinary participants from science, industry and public institutions were recruited to develop their own innovation projects in small groups. Guided by ideation tools as well as evaluation and analysis methods, three different ideas were developed:
- Digitalization options in personalized leukemia treatment
- Algae utilization in wastewater treatment plants
- Wastewater treatment plants and biological electricity storage
In addition to developing ideas, the workshops have made a particular contribution to bringing together various stakeholders, creating networks and using them in the spirit of open innovation.
The Competence Center on Automation (CCoA) project aims to transfer knowledge about industrial automation from Germany to Morocco and to support local industry. It focuses on the automotive, agricultural and food processing industries, creates jobs and trains young talent.
The project is supported by the special initiative “Decent Work for a Just Transition” of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit. The special initiative aims to create good jobs in the African partner countries and improve local working conditions. The CCoA is organized by Steinbeis University in cooperation with the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association and the German Chamber of Commerce in Morocco as well as the Phoenix Contact Group and the Deutsche Messe Technology Academy.
