Over 700 graduates are future-ready
In a world where the Great Crisis looms and the Great Opportunity beckons, it is the Adaptive Champions who not only survive but also prosper: survival of the fittest. Or in other words: beyond agile. The only question is: how to master it?
Through strategic foresight. The seminar “Digital Transformation, Foresight & Innovation Management” is about nothing less. For the last five years, numerous young professionals from German and international companies got future-ready in Prof. Dr. habil. Heiko von der Gracht’s lecture which is part of two Master’s programs at School of International Business and Entrepreneurship (SIBE): “To date, more than 700 graduates have successfully attended the seminar and are now shaping the future of their organization in an even more future-robust way.”
The young decision-makers come from all sectors of the economy, from automotive and insurance to IT, telecommunications, electronics, finance, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and chemicals. The great response to the seminar can be explained simply: The future is methodology. The more professional and the more scientifically based the methods of Strategic Foresight, the more securely, quickly and reliably responsible persons make all decisions concerning the future. Methods such as: Environmental Scanning and Scenario Development, Trend Management, Wild Card Analysis, Opportunity Radar or De-Biasing are used in this regard.
The future holds threats as well as opportunities for us. What we make of it has nothing to do with instinct, tradition or intellect, but has everything to do with strategic foresight and future competence.
